About the Role:
Gafix is in search of a Backend Engineer to power the server-side logic and infrastructure of our products. You’ll help build robust APIs, manage databases, and ensure system scalability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java)
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
